Is A Phlebotomy Technician the same as a phlebotomist?
A phlebotomy technician and a phlebotomist are interchangeable titles for the same job. They both draw blood from patients, ship samples, use and care for lab equipment and deal with patients. The phrases are interchangeable as the phlebotomy training program and phlebotomist courses are the same.

what will i do in the phlebotomy training program?
Upon successful completion of the course and the clinical requirements, each student will be eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) exam at the EMTP facility. Once the student successfully completes the exam, he or she will be a Nationally Certified Phlebotomy Technician through the NHA and ready to start an exciting new career as a Phlebotomist.
